Body
The body's natural balance emerges when we support its own flow rather than force change.
Onsil's body program assesses each area's concerns and skin condition to find a natural sense of firmness and contour.
Skin thickness and
Personalized care considering fat distribution
The abdomen, upper arms, thighs, and buttocks may all appear to have “reduced firmness,” but their skin thickness, fat volume, direction of sagging, and movement differ. Onsil Clinic distinguishes whether skin firmness, localized contours, or stretch marks need attention after assessing your body and skin. We do not promise weight loss.
What makes Onsil Clinic's body program different?
Onsil Clinic's body program is personalized. We first distinguish sagging skin, reduced firmness, localized contour concerns, and stretch marks on the abdomen, upper arms, thighs, and buttocks, then select treatment as needed. Because ultrasound and radiofrequency devices differ in delivery and depth, we check skin thickness, fat distribution, the size of the concern area, and recovery time before planning a standalone or staged treatment.
Even in the same area, the approach changes depending on whether skin, the amount and distribution of fat, or muscles and body shape are the main factor.
Are these body concerns on your mind?
Even in the same area, the approach changes depending on whether skin, the amount and distribution of fat, or muscles and body shape are the main factor.
- My weight has not changed much, but the skin on my abdomen feels loose.
- When I raise my arms or wear sleeveless clothes, sagging and reduced firmness in my upper arms bother me.
- The skin on my inner thighs or above my knees feels uneven and weak.
- The boundary beneath my buttocks looks less defined and my skin seems less firm.
- After childbirth or a change in weight, my skin feels stretched and I have stretch marks.
- I would like to discuss nonsurgical options suited to my current condition before considering major surgery or a long recovery.
Changes in body contours involve more than fat alone
-
Changes in skin firmness and thickness
Age, UV exposure, pregnancy and childbirth, and repeated weight changes may affect how skin stretches and recovers. Thin and thick skin may respond differently to the same energy and need different precautions.
-
Amount and distribution of fat
Excess subcutaneous fat and loose skin may look similar but call for different approaches. Nonsurgical treatments do not replace weight loss or obesity treatment.
-
Muscles, posture, and lifestyle habits
Abdominal protrusion and the shape of the buttocks can also be affected by muscle tone, the pelvis, posture, and lifestyle. Medical procedures alone cannot change every aspect of body shape.
-
Age and color of stretch marks
The response of stretch marks to treatment may vary with when they formed, whether they are red or white, and their depth and extent. They require a separate assessment rather than the same approach used for ordinary skin tightening.
We assess your body before choosing a device
-
STEP 1
Identify the main concern area and goal
We identify which concerns you most—firmness, sagging, localized fat, skin texture, or stretch marks—and the degree of change you want.
-
STEP 2
Assess skin thickness and fat distribution
We check skin folding when standing and moving, left-right differences, fat distribution, sensitivity, and signs of previous treatments.
-
STEP 3
1:1 consultation with Medical Director Dr. Ji-seon Kim
We explain expected changes and limitations, and when exercise, weight management, or another treatment should come first.
-
STEP 4
Design treatment scope for each area
We consider contours and skin thickness on the abdomen, upper arms, thighs, and buttocks when planning treatment areas, areas to avoid, energy, and sequence.
The approach depends on your concern
-
01
When sagging and reduced firmness are the main concerns
We can assess whether a device treatment using ultrasound or radiofrequency energy at different skin depths is suitable.
-
02
When localized fat and contours are the main concern
We determine whether a skin-firming device is sufficient or a separate treatment to address localized fat is needed. For injections in body areas, we first confirm each product's approved uses and safety.
-
03
When texture and fine lines are the main concerns
If surface and dermal firmness matter more than widespread deep sagging, we consider a device that targets relatively shallow layers.
-
04
When stretch marks are the main concern
Stretch marks need a separate treatment plan based on their color, age, and skin sensitivity. We explain the potential and limits of treatment instead of treating them as the same goal as body lifting.
